Our story
Born by the sea, in a small bookshop in Mojácar.
We are Sunny With a Chance of Books, an independent bookshop on the sun-drenched coast of
Almería, Spain. Book clubs have always been part of what we do. They're a kind of social experiment, we
think.
Over two years of watching people talk about books, we noticed how sometimes a single sentence could make someone
open up. And if that sentence came from a book, it could hold even more power and lead to even better
conversations.
So we made the Literary Conversation Cards with that in mind. Could literary quotes bring us closer to better
conversations? We think so. Give them a try and see for yourself.

What language are the cards in?+
The cards are entirely in English. The literary quotes are drawn from classic works of literature.
How long does shipping take?+
Orders are dispatched within 2–4 business days from our bookshop in Mojácar, Spain. European orders
typically arrive in 5–10 days; international orders in 10–20 days. Delays due to customs or couriers
can occasionally occur.
Can I return them if I don't love them?+
Yes — we have a 30-day return and exchange policy. Cards must be in new, unused condition in their original
packaging. Return shipping is at your own cost. Email us with your order number to start a return.
Are these good as a gift?+
Absolutely — they come in a beautiful magnetic-closure rigid box that looks wonderful under a tree or on a
